This year’s EAHP Congress focus: Special patient groups – hospital pharmacists creating standards for care.
17th Congress of the EAHP (European Association of Hospital Pharmacists)

The European Association of Hospital Pharmacists (EAHP) is a working community of national associations of hospital pharmacists. Membership is increasing each year and, at present, EAHP represents the interest of over 21,000 hospital pharmacists in 31 countries all over Europe.
EAHP’s annual congress is the largest congress for hospital pharmacy in Europe and is attended by professionals from over 50 countries. Approximately 3’500 hospital pharmacists are expected to attend the 17th Congress of the EAHP next 21-23 March 2012 at the Mic Convention Centre, Milan, Italy.
“Special patient groups – hospital pharmacists creating standards for care” will be the theme for the presentations at the Milan 2012 EAHP Congress. A scientific programme including 3 keynote presentations, 13 seminars open for interactions with the speakers and 3 interactive workshops will offer participants the unique opportunity to meet, network and share expertise. EAHP’s industry partners have also committed to conducting satellite symposia highlighting important new developments important to hospital pharmacy.
EAHP’s Congress is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education, as well as by some of its national member associations according to the different national accreditation systems.
