Clinical Trial Packaging

Softbox produces a range of passive packaging systems designed to provide the ultimate temperature protection for shipping Clinical Trial and Investigational Medical Products (IMP).

PolyBox and TempCell temperature controlled Clinical Trial and IMP packaging systems are high performance solutions designed to maintain chilled and ambient temperatures for named patient drugs during their transportation to clinics.

PolyBox is pre-qualified to maintain correct temperature for up to 96 hours of challenging supply chain conditions. The range provides payload volumes of 7, 14 and 28 litres.

TempCell is pre-qualified to maintain correct temperature for up to 120 hours of challenging supply chain conditions. The range provides payload volumes of 7, 13 and 28 litres.

Both PolyBox and TempCell systems are designed to flat pack for cost effective delivery and storage and are extremely easy to assemble for use.

Temperature Control Pallet Shippers

Softbox temperature control pallet shippers are the ideal solution for customers that wish to bulk load product cartons into a pallet sized shipper. They are pre-qualified to maintain chilled and ambient temperature of product for up to 120 hours.

Their patented design uses high performance Extruded Polystyrene insulation panels combined with water based coolant packs to provide a very simple to use and assemble system.

Modular construction and the use of robust materials makes them suitable for multi-use and ensures they meet the requirements of many pharmaceutical companies who now use sustainable packaging solutions that have less impact on the environment.

Pallet Shippers are available in three sizes as small, medium and large with corresponding payload capacities of 266, 488 and 663 litres.

Softbox Silverpod® Temperature Control Air Cargo Containers

Softbox Silverpod^® Temperature Control Air Cargo Containers provide pharmaceutical companies with the first real cost effective alternative to using “Active” ULD type containers for the international shipment of their temperature sensitive pharmaceuticals.

Silverpod are available in a range of sizes designed to optimise the use of available space on the LD7 air pallet or cookie sheet. Silverpod are designed to hold from 1 to 5 full pallet loads of drugs but can also be hand loaded with product cartons for maximum use of available space.

The use of robust materials ensures Silverpod suitability for multi use. As all materials used in their construction are 100% recyclable and non toxic, they are easy to recycle at the end of their service life.
