Katronic Technologies Ltd. specialise in non-intrusive clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters, level measurement systems and ultrasonic sensors.

All of these systems are based on clamp on ultra-sonic sensor technology and are fully non-invasive.

In order to meet the requirements of every possible flow application each ultrasonic flowmeter employs both the Transit-Time and Doppler ultrasonic measurement techniques in order to ensure a successful reading.

The ultrasonic flow meters are able to be used on a variety different liquid flow applications including, water, wastewater, power generation, pharmaceutical and petrochemical systems.

Katronic supply various strap-on sensor and flowmeter configurations including portable, fixed installation and fully ATEX certified transmitters for hazardous area solutions and offshore environments.

The ultrasonic transmitters and sensors are constructed of materials designed to operate in harsh environmental conditions. Both flowmeters and sensors are weather proof and the transducers can be supplied with an IP68 rating in order to allow permanent submersion.

As well as clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters Katronic are able to provide a variety of other measurement systems. This includes a range of non-invasive ultra sonic level meters and non-contact level control packages. These level meters are again clamp-on and mounted externally of the vessels.

Katronic are also able to supply flowmeters on hire for short-term use, flow measurement services and complete project integration for custom-designed measurement systems.
