Powder Transfer Systems
Powder transfer systems are a clean, simple and environmentally friendly solution for the contained transfer of powder, granules and pellets. Material is transferred to the conveyor and is then loaded into an end-destination, such as dumping powder into a tablet press. Vacuum technology provides a cost effective flexible solution to the safe conveying of bulk materials across a broad spectrum of process industries.
Hanningfield’s ‘Uni-Vac’ conveyor has a throughput of up to 4,000 kgs/hr and can hold 3 to 100 litres of material. Our powder transfer system provides cost effective automation that will improve both production and reduce contamination; creating a cleaner and safer working environment. The Uni-Vac’s easy-clean design provides the ideal solution for powder transfer the pharmaceutical and allied industries.
Size Reduction Process Equipment
Conical Screen Milling is widely recognised as one of the most efficient and beneficial methods for size reduction in the powder processing industries. Benefits of this method include a reduction in process times, cleaning, noise and dust levels, thus making this a highly desirable solution for size reduction of materials.
The Hanningfield ‘Uni-Mill’ conical screen mill draws upon our years of knowledge and expertise in size reduction for the process industries. The ‘Uni-Mill’ can achieve a throughput of up to 7,200 kgs/hr making it a high productivity, low energy solution for the pharmaceutical, food, chemical and consumer goods industries.
Dust Containment System
Capture excess dust in powder processing with the ‘Uni-Dust’ powder recovery cyclone. The cyclone is located in the process room and captures the excess dust created during processing.
The cyclone is situated between the tablet press/capsule filler and the process room LEV. Consequently excess powder is captured in the process room itself, rather than being transported to the central dust extraction system, which can often result in a dangerous cocktail of powders. The cyclone is manufactured from hygienic 316L stainless steel and is designed to the retrofitted to existing applications. This makes the Hanningfield ‘Uni-Dust’ the ultimate process dust containment solution.
The Uni-Hoist can be employed for various applications, such as IBC lifting and handling, drum lifting, and equipment positioning, all of which can be controlled in a safe and hygienic manner through using the Uni-Hoist system. Available in mobile or static versions, designs can be easily customised to suit individual requirements across a variety of industries.
