Bio Decontamination Equipment
Bioquell have developed a range of products and services employing the process of HPV generation for the bio-decontamination of colonised and contaminated equipment, rooms or even buildings. Computer-controlled vapour generators produce HPV, effectively killing micro-organisms, before the same equipment recycles the gas through a catalytic converter, reducing it to a harmless and residue-free combination of water vapour and oxygen.
The Bioquell QUBE
Undertake aseptic processing in a Bioquell QUBE, a cost-effective modular aseptic work station systems with built-in rapid hydrogen peroxide vapour (HPV) bio-decontamination. The Bioquell QUBE is suitable for applications such as pharmacy compounding, sterility testing and many others. The Bioquell QUBE modules allow a variety of configurations that tailor the workspace to the needs of the specific process.
The HPV decontamination process also has excellent material compatibility, and is safe to use with sensitive, high-tech and expensive electronic equipment. Due to its simplicity of operation and speed of cycles, its benefits can be applied across various sectors from healthcare to life sciences.
Hydrogen Peroxide Vapour Sterilisation
The Bioquell Clarus C is a top of the range multi-function HPV generator providing high-level disinfection and surface sterilisation capability for volumes up to 400cu.m. This system is used for the bio-decontamination of rooms, chambers, containment isolators, process and laboratory equipment for research, production and applications in tightly controlled pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
The compact, mobile Bioquell L3 can be used to bio-decontaminate a wide range of laboratory equipment and is safe and easy to operate. For common laboratory equipment such as biological safety cabinets it can be used to replace formaldehyde - HPV, is safer, more rapid and also completely residue-free. It can also be used to decontaminate pharmacy isolators and other specialist equipment such as IVC systems.
The Bioquell Clarus PORT is an advanced HPV rapid decontamination chamber. Because of the rapid decontamination cycle – typically 15 minutes – it is possible to utilise the very latest in sporicidal gassing techniques recommended in EC GMP’s for “just in time” transfer of materials, equipment and components. The main applications of the Bioquell PORT are when used as a bio-decontamination chamber between two aseptic processing workstations, such as isolators or laminar flow units, or as a pass-through chamber into a cleanroom.
Bio Decontamination Services
Bioquell also offer services for the bio-decontamination of both facilities of any size / volume and equipment. Bioquell’s Room Bio-Decontamination Service (RBDS) is a unique service, used for high level hydrogen peroxide vapour decontamination of enclosed spaces; ranging from vehicles to entire buildings. Using RBDS offers many key benefits; firstly as the process is so rapid facility downtime is kept to a minimum, saving money by decreasing lost production time.
Each cycle is fully verified using industry standard Biological Indicators and has proven efficacy against a wide range of micro-organisms. The service is carried out by specialist, highly trained engineers and can be carried out as required be it for an emergency or during a scheduled shut-down period.
Bioquell’s Equipment Bio-Decontamination Service (EBDS) can ve used to bio-decontaminate a wide range of laboratory equipment including biological safety cabinets, HEPA filtration enclosures, incubators, centrifuges and robotic equipment.

Laminar Flow Workstations
Microflow’s air Laminar Flow workstations provide vertical and horizontal laminar airflow to ensure a practical working area. The Microflow Horizontal Laminar Flow workstation offers product protection with a spacious open working area, whilst the Microflow Vertical Laminar Flow workstation offers product protection with a recirculating Class II type airflow and negative pressure at the working aperture.
