For over 40 years Assab Laboratory Furniture has specialised in the design, manufacture and installation of a very modular and flexible range. This has been installed in a variety of laboratories with different concepts. We like to work with our clients endeavouring to meet all their needs and ensure that the project is installed to the customer’s delight.
This can often mean working closely with our clients and their project team to ensure that many different ideas are discussed throughout the project. We offer Autocad three dimensional drawings which assist the client to involve their laboratory team showing them how the layout is taking shape during the planning stages. This can be very quickly altered when changes occur.
Pharmaceutical Laboratory Design
We enjoy working with our clients offering them a comprehensive pharmaceutical laboratory design and furnishing solution which suits their working programme. We react very quickly to any changes in the early stages, or indeed during the project, where our clients have changes to make.
Throughout the company we offer an experienced, professional and detailed project management team tailored to our clients needs. We employ our own drivers, warehouse personnel, installation engineers and project managers. This ensures a top quality project handled excellently by the team. We build upon our continued strength in delivering the projects on time and to a super quality.
Our flexible ranges can easily be altered in years to come when laboratory personnel have to relocate or alter their laboratory layout due to change in working procedures or alterations to their buildings.

Chemical Resistant Worktop
Trespa Athlon and Trespa Toplab Plus
Both worktops offer chemical resistant worktops with Toplab Plus being the more resistant to chemicals. Toplab Plus should be used when a higher chemical resistance is required, such as chemistry laboratories. The worktop is resistant to a range of corrosive chemicals including solvents, corrosive fluids, acids and alkalines. Most of these chemicals will neither damage the Trspa Toplab plus, nor stain provided that they are cleaned up within twenty four hours.
Trespa Athlon’s decorative surface is impregnated with melamine resin ( one of the hardest resins known). This makes it extremely scratch resistant and therefore suitable for applications involving heavy appliances such as ovens, chromotographs and computer equipment. It is heat resistant and will retain all its characteristics in temperatures ranging from -40 degees centigrade to +180 degrees centigrade.
