The company name Vincogen comes from the Latin root Vinco, which means I Conquer. Vincogen Corporation has developed a proprietary bioassay, or biochip, for use in several applications across the diagnostic and pharmaceutical industries. The biochip, which we will market as the ICBiochip, can be distinguished from competing biochips by its higher throughput rates and lower cost. In addition, our ICBiochip is more reliable and flexible in its application than competing biochips due to our Phage technique for attaching solid-state materials (e.g. DNA or protein) to the biochip’s surface.

Customers such as biomedical researchers, physicians, and veterinarians will use our ICBiochip to detect and diagnose diseases. Pharmaceutical firms will use our ICBiochip to test the efficacy of potentially life-saving drugs. In the short-term, we will earn revenue from the direct sales of our ICBiochip to food suppliers interested in using the biochips to detect disease in their shrimp breeding farms. In the long-term, revenue will come from licensing and royalty agreements with the larger diagnostic and pharmaceutical markets.
