    The Institute of Pharmacy Management was created in 1964 by a group of enthusiastic pharmacists gathered round the late Werner Tomski, whose vision and drive brought the Institute into being. The purpose of the Institute was and still is, to initiate and promote fundamental and practical research programmes and to provide up to date teaching of management in pharmacy.
