Synoptics Ltd develops and manufactures innovative scientific instruments and systems that exploit digital imaging technology for a range of disciplines and are based in Cambridge, UK and Maryland, USA.

The Synbiosis division of Synoptics Ltd was formed in 1998 and provides equipment to microbiologists to automate the process of microbial colony counting and zone sizing.

All such products result from a combination of end-user needs and a significant requirement for imaging technology. The hallmarks of our products are: -
