Firlabo - Temperature and Humidity Control Cabinets

Firlabo is a major manufacturer of laboratory equipment based in Lyon. They specialise in temperature and humidity control, and have been manufacturing for approximately 65 years. The original company produced the first French centrifuge and Firlabo continues to manufacture centrifuges to this day. The latest bench top models, use a programmable microprocessor for control.

In 1999, FROILABO became part of the Firlabo group. This well known European manufacturer brings its vast experience in deep freezer technology, to add strength to the group.  The new, Bio Memory range of deep freezers have some innovative design features, which greatly reduce running costs.

Expertise in temperature and humidity control, extends to the range of climatic cabinets which are used for stability studies, by companies in the pharmaceutical and food industries.  The range also includes climatic cabinets with an extended temperature range, for thermal shock testing.

High precision, laboratory incubators and ovens form an important part of the Froilabo range, as do large capacity cooled incubators. All products are CE labelled and guaranteed for 18 months.

Kango Professional - Biological and Chemical Laboratory Seating

Manufactures a range of specialist, laboratory and industrial chairs, under the brand name of “KANGO”. Based in Dijon and operating for 25 years, they supply a wide range of seats specifically designed for biological and chemical laboratories.

The soft polyurethane material is often the first choice as it is comfortable, tough and can be washed, scrubbed, and disinfected if contaminated. Gas lift or manual adjustment and different height ranges make them suitable for use in a variety of laboratory and clean production areas.

In 2007, four new colours were added to the soft polyurethane range. The colours are red, blue, violet and pale grey and are used on all chairs and stools as well as on the 930 GS Stand-up seats.

Grendene - Executive Laboratory Chairs

Extensive range of chairs manufactured in Italy. From high quality laboratory chairs to elegant laboratory chairs and conference room furniture. Also included are occasional seats for waiting rooms, and banks of seats for lecture theatres. The range includes the Grefin antistatic seats, in fully conductive fabric, polyurethane or contoured plywood.

For laboratory use, chairs are upholstered in a tough, non-absorbent simulated leather which is available in a variety of colours. Grendene is an ISO9002 registered company with many of its chairs manufactured to the Italian CATAS standard or to the German GS standard. All materials conform to BS 5852 for fire retardancy.
