Company Overview: OctoPlus is a product-oriented drug delivery company that focuses on the development of innovative drug delivery systems to build a pipeline of product candidates. OctoPlus’ key proprietary technologies enable the development of tailor-made controlled release formulations for all classes of injectable drug compounds, for products that are more patient-friendly and that are potentially safer and more efficacious.
OctoPlus offers its expertise in pharmaceutical development on a fee-for-service base to customers worldwide. We focus on compounds that require specialized solutions, such as biopharmaceuticals and low soluble compounds. Areas of special expertise include liposomal formulation, emulsions, solubilisation and freeze-drying.
OctoPlus’ pilot plant is fully licensed for manufacturing, labelling, packaging and release of material for clinical trials globally. More than 40 products for which formulation development took place at OctoPlus are currently either in clinical development or on the market.
