LTE Scientific was established in 1947 and is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of autoclaves, sterilizers, environmental rooms, stability storage rooms and services, ovens, incubators, cooled incubators, laboratory-scale freeze-dryers and drying equipment. LTE Scientific also employs a nationwide team of skilled service engineers who can undertake maintenance, repair, service, testing, calibration and validation on a wide range of equipment to a number of standards including UKAS, HTM2010 and HTM2030.

Laboratory and Production Autoclaves/Sterilizers

Our laboratory and production autoclaves (or steam sterilizers) are available in capacities from 30 to 10,000 litres. Most sizes are also available as either single entry or pass-through (double entry). Our autoclaves can be configured to suit a wide range of applications including multi-purpose (laboratory), pharmaceutical lab and production (to cGMP, 21CFR11 and GAMP4), high security (cat 3 and 4) and porous load. Standard features including air ballast, vacuum, pneumatic door sealing and touchscreen controls are included in many of our autoclaves.

Controlled Environment Chambers and Rooms

LTE is a leading provider of solutions to the pharmaceutical and research sectors in this area. We can provide tailor-made controlled environment rooms and chambers to suit many applications including large scale incubation, stability testing, shelf life testing, environmental testing and plant growth. Temperature, RH and light can all be controlled if required. High levels of accuracy and long term reliability make LTE rooms a very safe choice, especially where long-term studies are to be carried out.

In addition, LTE can offer off-site stability testing programmes and disaster recovery solutions to its clients. 

Ovens and Incubators

Our OP and IP Series Ovens and Incubators are available in sizes from 60 to 250 litres. All models include timers and can optionally be equipped with multi-program controllers. In addition, our Swallow ovens and incubators are available is sizes from 480 to 1000 litres. Our Qualicool range of cooled incubators provide excellent value and extremely close control. Available is sizes from 70 to 500 litres, all models control from +2 to 50ºC. Our under-bench 70 litre is uniquely designed to maximise shelf storage space.

Laboratory Freeze-Dryers

Our Lyotrap laboratory freeze-dryers are a laboratory-scale range with ice capacities fro 3 to 18kg. All models have a minimum temperature of -55ºC. Additionally we offer a 5kg Lyotrap model which can reach -80ºC, making it ideal for solvents. A wide range of accessories are available meaning that the Lyotrap range can be used for shelf drying, flasks, ampoules and vials.

Lab Equipment Care Services

After Sales Care for your Laboratory Equipment

The LTE Service Centre employs a nationwide team of service engineers to look after your lab equipment and offers a wide range of after sale lab equipment care services. Many engineers are trained to UKAS standards and are qualified test persons. As well as offering maintenance, service and repair contracts on a wide of products, LTE can provide testing, calibration and validation services to UKAS, HTM2010 and HTM2030, using the latest in data acquisition technology.
