CRS Mobile Cold Storage provide temperature controlled storage solutions to companies in the Pharmaceutical & Medical Industries. We provide portable cold storage units (1 – 58 pallet capacity) to companies that need to increase their on-site cold storage space.

Redundant Refrigeration Systems
We have worked with many companies in the pharmaceutical industry and fully understand that strict temperature control is critical for the storage of pharmaceutical products. For this reason we provide our cold storage solutions with redundant refrigeration systems. In the event of one refrigeration unit failing, the standby unit automatically takes over thereby maintaining the correct temperature of the storage environment.
Storage Temperature Monitoring
Validation – calibration, temperature mapping and remote temperature monitoring
Prior to delivery our pharmaceutical cold stores are put through a series of tests including temperature probe calibration and the temperature mapping of the storage chambers. Full documentation on our storage temperature monitoring procedures, including standard operating procedures can be provided to the customer for validation purposes.
Validation can also be carried out on site if required. Our pharmaceutical cold stores are equipped with remote temperature recording systems, allowing probe temperatures (such as air and product) and events (such as door openings) to be monitored remotely through an internet connection, thereby providing full traceability.
Vaccine Cold Storage
If you need a cold storage solution for the storage of vaccines or other high value / temperature sensitive products, CRS Mobile Cold Storage can help you. In 2001, a pharmaceutical company was awarded a 2 year contract to store and distribute the meningitis C vaccine to all children in the Republic of Ireland. They needed a cold storage facility to store these vaccines.
Their options were to build a new cold room (cost prohibitive), use a public cold store (risk of losing control of their extremely sensitive product) or hire from the experts. Working with this pharmaceutical company, CRS Mobile Cold Storage was able to provide them with three vaccine cold storage units tailored to their specific requirements which were delivered to their premises and installed on site.
