SV-10 and SV-100 - Revolutionary Sine-wave Vibro Viscometers

ViscometerDo you need a simple turnkey viscometer that frees up your hands with automatic operation and simple and rapid cleaning? The newly developed Tuning-Fork Vibration Method (patent pending) can help you. Our SV-line products promise you ultra high accuracy and wide measurement range without the need for replacing the sensor plates.

SV-Series Vibro Viscometers measure viscosity by detecting the driving electric current necessary to resonate the two sensor plates at constant frequency of 30 Hz and amplitude of less than 1mm. The SV-10 is designed for lower viscosity liquids (0.3-10,000 mPa.s) whereas the SV-100 can measure higher viscosities (1,000-100,000 mPa.s).

Features:

  • Selectable wide measurement range
  • Continuous measurement
  • High measurement accuracy (excellent repeatability of 1 % of reading for viscosity measurement)
  • Viscosity calibration (with viscosity standard, 1 point or 2 point calibration is selectable)
  • Measurement at controlled temperatures (accurate temperature in seconds), 0-100°C
  • Real-time measurement
  • Small sample size (accurate measurement with just 35 ml sample of fluid), with optional small sample volume cell (down to 10 ml)
  • Data collection and graphing software (WinCT-Viscosity for windows PC)
  • Easy cleaning

Advanced Features:

  • Non-Newtonian sample viscosity measurement
  • Sol and gel measurement
  • Flowing sample measurement
  • Foaming sample measurement
  • Vacuum fluorecent display
  • Separated type model
  • Standard RS-232C interface
