The VD/L-Series vacuum drying ovens are firmly established in the market. Now BINDER will be using ACHEMA 2006 as a platform to introduce its new VD generation with programmable controllers and real-time clock.
BINDER GmbH ensures ultimate precision for its VD/L vacuum drying ovens, which incorporate many features with patented technology. With its expansion rack mechanics and APT.line® preheating chamber, the VD/L offers increased quality for vacuum operation.
BINDER's VD/L series are supplied with highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel inner chambers that are resistant to acids and solvents and have multiple safety features for operation with explosive solvents - the perfect solution for vacuum drying.
These redesigned VD/L vacuum drying ovens with the new controller incorporate a variety of state-of-the-art features with many benefits for customers. For example: LED and LCD display, up to 20 program sections and adjustable ramp function through the program editor. Users thus have a wide choice of individual time, temperature, and ramp functions to enable variable temperature cycles.
The units also have two 24 V DC (max. 0.4 A) switching outputs, switchable via two control contacts of the program controller for the control of the pump or other electrical equipment, and an RS 422 interface for the APT-COM® communications data control system software, or is switchable to printer output using a RS 232/RS422 interface converter.
This equipment with these options will be available as of the ACHEMA show.
The real-time clock function of the program controller for the vacuum drying ovens will be available beginning in September 2006.
