SubscribeThe IDS Intact parathyroid hormone (PTH) kit is a two-site assay for the quantitative determination of PTH 1-84 in human serum or plasma.
The assay uses a unique highly specific N-terminal monoclonal capture antibody in conjunction with an affinity purified polyclonal C-terminal specific detection antibody.
Our format captures analyte at the N-terminus during a primary incubation, followed by a wash to remove all C-terminal fragments. A second incubation with C-terminal specific labelled antibody completes "sandwich" formation, completely avoiding the risk of C-terminal fragment interference, irrespective of renal function.
