siRNA transfection reagent SAINT RED

Synvolux Therapeutics

SAINT-RED provides highly efficient siRNA transfection over a range of siRNA concentrations from low to high, allowing researchers to choose the siRNA concentration they wish to use.

It can be used to transfect a wide range of cell types, including B16F10, SKOV3, HeLa, HEK 293T, NIH/3T3, and MCF-7.

Technology:

SAINT-RED is based on a synthetic amphiphilic (non-liposomal) delivery system combined with DOPE (Dioleoyl-phosphatidylethanolamine). The pyridinium surfactant of SAINT-RED enables non-toxic delivery of siRNA. Besides the in vitro research approach, more and more interest arises for eventual in vivo application of siRNA.

SAINT-RED

SAINT-RED product description:

The SAINT-RED delivery system is based on a cationic pyridinium head group, showing excellent bio-compatibility.

SAINT-RED consists of SAINT-18 and DOPE (Dioleoyl-phosphatidylethanolamine) dissolved in H2O. SAINT-RED is supplied in 1 glass vial, containing SAINT-RED in a 0.75mM concentration. Under standard conditions (1µg siRNA/RNAi complexed with 15nmol of SAINT-RED) a standard package is sufficient to perform transfection experiments with 100 µg siRNA/RNAi.
