Our Cerabar M overload-resistant pressure transmitter measures the gauge and absolute pressure of gas, vapour, liquid and dust. It's therefore perfect for all industrial environments and offers a wide range of connections - and metal or ceramic sensors - to suit your process.
- The ceramic sensor offers long-term stability through its high overload resistance (up to 40 times the nominal value) and its ability to remain accurate even in the event of sudden pressure peaks. It is also ideal for hygienic applications as it has a smooth surface and no oil fill, and conforms to 3A, FDA, EHEDG and ASME BPE.
For measuring ranges of up to 400 bar, the metal sensor comes into its own. It offers high overload resistance up to 600 bar and has a range of fluid fills to suit applications in the food, pharmaceutical and process industries.
A modular approach is key to Cerabar's versatility and usefulness: process connections, housings and electronics are all easily interchangeable to provide the best possible fit for your application. It also has housings in polyester epoxy-coated aluminium (for chemical, water and power) and stainless steel (food and pharmaceutical).
Hart and Profibus compatible, it can be easily integrated into existing processes, and is suitable for use in hazardous areas.
