METTLER TOLEDO's new Evaporation Traps - for accurate pipette performance testing day in day out. Measurement errors caused by evaporation can be costly, so our evaporation traps have been optimised; primarily the trap geometry and the design of the pipetting container, to reduce the evaporation rate and achieve high repeatability.

It is very easy to convert your balance to a pipette calibration station by simply mounting the corresponding evaporation trap.
Analytical balance XP & XS
The XP/XS evaporation trap is made of glass, to keep static effect low.
MCP system
The 12 channel transport carriage can be swapped with the standard glass evaporation trap or with a new high-capacity evaporation trap. This allows uninterrupted pipetting even for high-volume single channel pipettes.
Microbalances XP26 & XP56
The metal evaporation trap with built-in lid allows direct access to the pipetting container – no need for balance doors!
WXT & WXS systems
This solution is particularly adapted for on-site calibration.
