For 25 years Management Forum, the Woking based market leading conference, seminar and knowledge-based event specialists, has operated in many of the world’s most demanding industries.

Pharmaceutical Publication Strategy
The power of the network is evident in the quality of the event programs Management Forum undertake each year, and this dynamic approach is set to build through 2008.
As this 25th Anniversary year progresses, Management Forum will roll out it’s portfolio of Premium Events. The all new Pharmaceutical Publication and Planning Summer School will be resident from 9th-11th July 2008 at The Rembrandt Hotel in Knightsbridge, London.
The 3 days will be chaired by Liz Wager, an expert in Publication Planning, and author and key contributor of several books on good publication strategy.
The development of the new Pharmaceutical Publication Strategy & Planning Summer School has been welcomed by Peter Llewellyn who leads the MedComms Networking community initiative at www.MedCommsNetworking.co.uk - a community made up of professionals working in Medical Education, Communications and Publishing. Peter said, “Our members work hard to execute effective publication plans. The sometimes complex issues involved deserve detailed consideration by all parties and this unique course will offer that opportunity. Management Forum is renowned for running well-planned, enjoyable and ultimately worthwhile courses. This is an important addition to their growing and valuable programme of events.”
The 3-day programme will focus on ‘Good publication strategies and intelligent planning as a way to maximize the benefits from publications, avoid missing important communications opportunities and increase the return on investment for clinical trials’. The agenda also sets out to examine how ‘lack of strategy and poor planning can lead to delays and tension between investigators / opinion leaders and research sponsors and even damage the reputation of your company’.
This unique course will explain the roles of publication policies, strategies and plans. Participants will learn how to convert strategies into effective programmes, gain knowledge about journals and meetings and increase their understanding about the latest rules and regulations governing publications. In practical sessions, participants will apply this knowledge to create realistic timetables. Delegates will also gain valuable insights from journal editors and other publications professionals.
