The NE5-28D Digital Shaking Bath has the same benefits as the previous version, which include a dual temperature display which allows the operator to see the set temperature and the actual measured bath temperature simultaneously.
The NE5-28D has new features which include the ability to retain the time and temperature in memory, to allow for accurate experiment replication. This is especially important in areas like pharmaceutical drug research and cell culture. A variable minute timer, audible buzzer and over-temperature alarm which automatically operates +4°C above set point are other valuable benefits. These same product enhancements also feature in the smaller NE5-10D bench top unit.
There is a wide choice of well established accessories for both units, including a multispring tray which allows a variety of vessels to shake simultaneously, conventional flask trays for sizes from 25ml to 2000ml and a test tube rack tray. These provide busy labs with versatile solutions to a variety of shaking/incubation applications.
