SubscribePromens Medical Packaging A/S has filed an application for a patent for the newly developed connection device for mixing of infusion fluids: DivibaX.
DivibaX is the result of 5 years of development and the device has a unique and pathbreaking design, which ensures an optimum user friendliness and safety for the user of the product as it:
- Minimizes the risk of spreading aerosole toxicological products
- Ensures traceability in the treatment of patients
- Protects the user against needlestick injuries
DivibaX is the first device on the market to solve all the problem areas mentioned above, and is 100% protected against run-back of fluid which, until now, has been the great challenge to the market.
Another advantage of the DivibaX is that it can be used together with existing products (vials and Intra-Con infusion bags) on the market hence also with competing products as it is designed for ISO standard neck sizes.
It is estimated that the introduction of DivibaX will increase the sales of a number of Promens Medical Packaging's existing products as for every device sold, an extra infusion container will also be sold. Furthermore, to strengthen the position in the market Promens Medical Packaging A/S launches four new Single-Neck Intra-Con containers for infusion treatments.
