Larox will introduce a completely redesigned range of standardised Pannevis RT Horizontal Vacuum Belt Filters, at the ACHEMA 2006 trade show in Frankfurt, Germany from May 15 – 19, 2006. This new range of Pannevis RT belt filters will provide many advantages to the customer compared to the current RT range.

The Pannevis RT vacuum belt filter was introduced to the marketplace in 1967 as the very first tray-type horizontal vacuum belt filter. It quickly became the market leader in the Chemical Process Industries due to its ease of operation, performance, cleanliness and reliability.

Pannevis subsequently was also the first to introduce the Fume Tight, Gas Tight and Pressure Tight vacuum belt filter designs as well as the Press Belt and Vacuum Press Belt, both of which further improved dewatering performance. The new standardised RT designs continue the Pannevis tradition of being at the forefront of technical and marketplace development with regard to belt filter technology.

The new standardized Pannevis RT filter range is based on two basic options:

  • conventional SS wetted-parts design
  • corrosion resistant design.

The advantages of the new standardized designs to the user of Pannevis RT filters include:

  • Standardization of components
  • Standardization on the best features from the various models
  • Shorter delivery times
  • More compact design for the larger models (new 3m width replaces 2.88m and a new 4m width is to be introduced)
  • Flexibility in adding options during the ordering process or after installation
  • Fast spare parts availability
  • Exchangeable parts over different width models
  • Simple modifications to upgrade or extend existing models
  • Standardization of options and ancillaries
  • Integrated automation over the complete range (also integrated with all other Larox products)
  • Simplified automation upgrades

The new product range will continue to provide the exceptionally high standards for which the Pannevis RT filter is already well known and will provide higher levels of reliability with lower maintenance costs as a result of the standardization process.

The new models will continue to offer features and options to meet the widest possible range of applications in the Chemical Process Industries backed up by the extensive technical know-how of the Larox organization based on almost 40 years of delivering horizontal vacuum belt filter solutions.

The new Pannevis range of RT horizontal vacuum belt filters will also be fully supported by the Larox Service group, the most comprehensive and experienced network in the industry, covering the world with operations in over 40 countries and providing reliable support throughout the entire lifecycle of the product.

Larox is committed to helping its clients meet the following goals

  • Reduced lifetime production costs - especially energy based costs

  • Improved safety, health and environmental performance
  • Improved yield and productivity
