The moulded, soft polyurethane used for these seats is non-absorbent, washable, quick to dry and comfortable to sit on.
The Concept
The seat pad and back support are both formed as a "solid" moulding, and there is no actual covering material to split or tear. Although the foam is cellular, the cells do not interconnect so liquids will not soak into the foam. For this reason, the seats can be scrubbed, cleaned anddisinfected, and dried very quickly.
Wear Resistance
Polyurethane foam is resistant to most acids and solvents aswell as most alkaline disinfectants. It is also very resistant toabrasions and damage by metal tools. If the polyurethane iscut, the cut will not spread and there is no foam filling to pushout.
Seat Frame
All Kango seats are supported by a chromium plated column ona stable, 5 branch base. The column can be gas lift or manual adjustment, with orwithout a foot ring. Bench height and desk height modelsare available, and castors can be fitted if required.
Guarantee
Kango gas lift seats are guaranteed for 2 years and the "GS"versions for 5 years. A full range of spare parts means thatdamaged chairs can be repaired, and not discarded.
The 741GHKis one of our most popular chairs. It is a high chair with seat and backrest in the comfortable soft polyurethane material. It has gas lift height adjustment and a fully adjustable footring. A single lever controls the clutch which allows the seat pad and backrest
to be adjusted for tilt.
The 721GHK is a high square stool with a fixed sloping seat and adjustable footring. Correct posture is maintained by the sloping seat and footring. Superbly comfortable alternative to a wooden stool.The wide seat gives good lateral support, and the waterfall front supports the thighs.
Stand-up Seats
These award wining seats were designed for use in production areas where staff spend long periods of time on their feet. They are also useful in other laboratory areas Where a normal chair might not fit.
Whilst leaning against the seat, 2/3 of the body weight is taken from the legs. At the same time, instant "walk-away" ability is maintained.
The seat is a polyurethane roll and the column has gas lift height adjustment. A semicircular base with rubber pads, provides stability.
Kango laboratory seats are available in desk height, bench height and drawing board height Standard or locking rubber tyred castors can be fitted to many of the chairs, as can armrests.
