The Drug Information Association (DIA) announces the addition of William J. Brassington, CPA to its management team as chief financial officer.
As chief financial officer, Brassington will be responsible for controller, budgeting and forecasting and treasury duties, as well as financial components of the organization’s long term plans.
“As a neutral, non-profit organization, effective financial management is a top priority,” said David Maola, executive director of DIA. “William worked with the organization for the past two years in an advisory role and has proven himself among the various DIA constituents as a strong financial leader. We are confident that his contributions will help DIA continue to thrive and remain financially sound.”
Brassington is the founder of Relevante, Inc., a 60-person regional financial consulting firm. Previously, he was CFO of LLuminari, a DuPont subsidiary providing health and wellness information services to Fortune 1000 companies. At LLuminari, Brassington was responsible for helping the organization gain funding, increase profitability and build its network of healthcare thought leaders. He is a CPA licensed in Pennsylvania.

Brassington received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from College Misericordia and a MBA from Lehigh University. He lives in Collegeville, PA.
