Indumax and Smartec Conductivity System When Hygiene Matters

Endress+Hauser Ltd

With the launch of new Indumax H CLS54 sensor and Smartec S CLD134 transmitter, Endress+Hauser leads the field in specialist conductivity measurement for the food, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

Both sensor and transmitter conform to EHEDG requirements to ensure the maximum in sanitary safety. What's more, only virgin PEEK is used for the sensor's wetted parts and seals do not come into contact with the product, ensuring compliance with FDA stipulations.

In conjunction with the sensor's hygienic design, hazardous area versions are available - an increasing requirement for the pharmaceutical industry when organic solvents are used. More importantly, as an optional feature, the sensor is offered with bioreactivity tests according to USP (United States Pharmacopeia), parts 87 and 88, class VI. These tests establish how living organisms react to the sensor material in order to avoid risk of contamination - a key factor for the international pharmaceutical/biotechnology market.
