Almac Clinical Services Expands its Global Depot Network

Almac

Almac announced this week that its Clinical Services division has signed further distribution agreements which will enhance the company’s global depot distribution network.

The new distributorship agreements with a major commercial pharmaceutical distributor cover the South-East Asia region. The hub facility in Singapore provides a central depot for clinical trial supply distribution across the region, including Malaysia, Taiwan, Philippines, Korea and Thailand.

Further agreements have been implemented in both China and India, two key emerging markets within the Clinical Trials Industry. These agreements are a further boost to the range and breadth of service available for the global distribution of clinical trial patient kits.

Logistics Manager Andrew Scott said: "We are delighted to add these countries to our global depot network. This will enable us to offer our clients extensive coverage for any future clinical trials that may be performed in these regions. We have effectively responded to the market need to offer GMP compliant distribution services within these key clinical trial destinations, and have greatly improved our offering to prospective clients."

These additions build on an existing depot network located across the world in including Russia, Ukraine, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Israel, France and Australia.
