Consultation & Design
Our experienced in-house team of specialists (engineers) will assist you in assessing your specific clean or controlled environment requirements to meet the FDA, MHRA and European GMP requirements. Our specialist designers bring industry knowledge and years of experience, which together with state of the art CAD technology results in innovative solutions to clean room designs.
We can offer a full consultancy service for the Fabric and Mechanical and Electrical services from front-end studies to producing detailed designs and specifications to meet the ISO 14644 clean room or the HSE containment standards. In addition we incorporate ISPE baseline guides We appreciate that the project is not complete until the production and process equipment is installed and fully operational. With this in mind MSS Clean rooms are designed to readily coordinate with the equipment installation without loss of integrity.
After a detailed briefing the MSS team will prepare a proposal including a specification, drawings and a construction programme. Our service covers the fabric, Mechanical and Electrical, HVAC, process and utility services designs and reviews to assist and present to our clients commercially viable solutions for new and upgraded existing facilities to meet required production demands.
Management & Installation
We pride ourselves on our project management skills using state of the art technology and experience of a long established successful team. The MSS Project Management teams will co-ordinate the project through design/development stage to completion and handover.
All installations are carried out by our highly trained personnel.
Our teams' industry knowledge, experience and installation techniques underwrite our clean-build philosophy. We understand that the heart of any clean room is the HVAC system.
Our in house M and E team can visit your site and carry out a detailed condition and operability survey on your HVAC systems and support services. The survey would be followed up by a detailed report with recommendations.
Air Handling and Filtration
At MSS we understand that the heart of any controlled environment is the air handling, distribution and filtration systems.
The MSS Systems are designed to accommodate all types of air distribution from conventional turbulent airflow to horizontal and vertical laminar flow.
The integration of a wide range of Air Handling equipment, and terminal supply devices can be coordinated with and integrated into our system. The range of available options fulfils the specific project requirements for the unique and contrasting needs of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and microelectronics industries. Commissioning and Qualification
MSS is committed to providing facilities fully commissioned and certified to comply with the relevant industry statutory legislation.
We are experienced in taking an active role in the development and execution of DQ, IQ and OQ protocols where critical parameters are identified, or Good engineering practice procedures for all other system and components. Experienced engineers, using state of the art commissioning equipment and techniques, carry out the Commissioning activity.
Full operational demonstration tests are always carried and recorded at each stage of the system operation. This service is provided for all types of clean environments including: containment, sterile suites, manufacturing, powder control booths and laboratories.
MSS will provide complete Certification service for any production or development area where the environment is controlled and a specification compliance certificate is required, usually a pre-curser to regulatory authority approval of the facility approval. Prior to handover the project designer will attend site to carry out an extensive user-training programme and deliver clear operating, maintenance documents with detailed record drawings.
