Project Communication
We greatly value regular communication with our clients. Because efficient exchange of information is especially critical in all stages of drug development, detailed communication occurs at each stage of the process in project work with CarboGen and AMCIS. In working with us, you can expect consistent delivery of:
- Ongoing management input to improve interaction and achieve maximum workflow efficiency.
- Weekly phone or video conferences to discuss the technical aspects of your project. The project manager as well as the hands-on synthetic and analytical chemists will lead you through each weekly report.
- A record of all discussion minutes provided to you upon your request.
- A complete list of contact information, which you are welcome to use at any time.
- Our commitment to remain flexible and available to you. We guarantee our availability for an on-site meeting with 24 hours notice.

Communication
Beginning the Relationship
Step 1 – Inquiry
To start a project with CarboGen and AMCIS, contact our sales team or write us directly. As soon as we hear from you, our project management department will be in touch to provide all necessary information and guide you through the following steps.
For additional information, our team can arrange a meeting to ensure that you feel confident in our team of experts. Introductory meetings may occur on-site or at your location, whichever works best for you.
Step 2 – Confidentiality agreement
Prior to beginning technical discussions, we will sign a confidentiality agreement to protect your interests.
Step 3 – Technical information package
We encourage you to submit all technical information to us for review. We believe we can serve you best if we have the benefit of fully understanding your ideas and progress to date. You will receive a check list outlining each relevant piece of material to help us generate a complete understanding of the project.
Step 4 – Meeting/phone conference
Our team will contact you to arrange a meeting to discuss your needs around the implementation and action phase of the project. This meeting typically includes chemists from both our project management department and our technical team.
Step 5 – Quote
Within three to five days, our project management chemists will prepare a proposal to develop your project based on the information you have shared. The proposal will include specifications, timelines and a breakdown of costs.
Step 6 – Meeting/phone conference
We will meet with you to discuss the proposal, answer any questions and ensure that we are in agreement regarding plans to move forward. We will provide a revised proposal based on our discussion as a follow-up if necessary.
Step 7 – Green light
Once you are fully satisfied with the project proposal, we will begin the project with your approval.
Step 8 – Project information
Before we begin the project, we will provide you with a project information document that outlines all information about the project, including goals, quantities, specifications and contact information. This document will become the central tool of our Change Control process, which will ensure that we fully understand and meet your needs at every stage of the project.
