Mettler Toledo Process Analytics introduce a new total organic carbon sensor featuring their ISM (Intelligent Sensor Management) technology to provide rapid, reliable and uninterrupted measurement of total organic carbon (TOC).
Total Organic Carbon Sensor
The 5000TOCi total organic carbon sensor has been developed to verify water purity for applications in pharmaceuticals, microelectronics and power generation. With responsive, uninterrupted on-line monitoring, the system ensures that any deviations in TOC levels do not go unnoticed.
The system is particularly appropriate for testing water for reverse osmosis and injection, for verifying the efficacy of ultraviolet TOC destruction amps. It is also effective for monitoring of rinse water quality organics shedding and resin bed performance. In addition to Intelligent Sensor Management technology, the 5000TOCi sensor offers a reliable TOC analysis system with intelligent sensor diagnostics and a sophisticated user interface.
The 5000TOCi sensor has a number of important benefits including:
- It features in-depth diagnostic data for straightforward maintenance
- It includes semi-automated calibration to improve reliability and accuracy of calibration.
- It offers automated flow control to enhance the reliability of real-time uninterrupted TOC analysis, avoiding distortions due to variations in system pressure.
- It allows easy diagnostics and monitoring of sensor status via the user-friendly iMonitor interface for prediction of maintenance requirements.
- It measures average and Peak TOC levels for simplified data collection and easy record keeping
In combination with the Thornton M800 multi-parameter transmitter, the 5000TOCi can be integrated with up to four pH, ORP, dissolved oxygen and dissolved ozone sensors and to pulsed flow sensors.
