Sticky Mats Cleanroom Flooring Contamination Prevention

GUARDTech adhesive, multi-layered, straight edged mats remove traffic dirt from wheels and dust from the soles of shoes. Available in many sizes - and three colours: white, blue and grey. They are supplied four/eight to a case, 30/60 sheets to a mat. Each layer has a coloured and numbered tab, giving easy removal of contamination and visible record of how many sections remain. The pressure sensitive adhesive contains a retardant to the growth of spores, while adhesive backing ensures the mat remains in place. A frame is available if required.

Cleanroom Mats

Reusable cleanroom mats are another option, and an economical method of controlling foot borne contamination. They are made from a revolutionary sticky plastic which contains no adhesive or impregnation. When washed properly and dried thoroughly with a Whiteguard Wipe, or Guardwipe, the mats regain their tackiness (and actually become more sticky after the first few cleanings). The mats trap any dirt or dust touching their surface and particles cannot be removed when the mat is dry. The tackiness collapses on contact with water, allowing easy cleaning. No plasticisers can migrate from the mat, and no trace of adhesive is left on the floor.
