O2 Analysis in Combustion Processes
Mettler Toledo's latest whitepaper discusses how tunable diode lasers can improve O2 ...
Mettler Toledo is proud to present its FlowIR™ High Pressure Sensors for the FlowIR™ instrument. The FlowIR™ is a compact solution for Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, enabling continuous monitoring of flow chemistry at almost any point in a continuous reactor system.
Heavy-duty HP sensors enable enhanced use of flow chemistry by enabling users to exert improved control over the critical parameters monitored by the FlowIR system for high-pressure experiments. Advantages of the system include easier optimisation of experiments, simplified lab-to-plant scaling, lower expenses, and reduced time-to-market.
Both SiComp and DiComp systems feature interchangeable FlowIR™ sensors for scientists carrying out high-pressure research so sensors can be rapidly swapped out and replaced according to the requirements of a particular experiment. The new FlowIR™ systems offer reliable results in temperatures of 120ºC and pressure levels as high as 725 psi (50 bar).
FlowIR™ High Pressure sensors are available to cover the whole spectrum with interchangeable silicon and diamond sensors. The sensors are particularly suitable for working with continuous hydrogenations since they are unresponsive to bubbles. They also feature a temperature varying flow head for continuous reaction integrity.
The FlowIR™ HP sensors do not need any additional set-up or equipment. They can simply be substituted for the normal FlowIR™ sensors to gain identical optical window, capabilities, flow characteristics and chemical compatibility as the standard models.
