Camspec Spectrophotometers for DNA/RNA Measurement

Some workers in the field of DNA and RNA need to use the smallest possible sample volume. If this is their only interest, they will purchase a Nanodrop or equivalent which is dedicated to the task. If, however, they also need a general purpose UV/Visible Spectrophotometer, then the Hellma TrayCell fits in the standard single cell holder of the Camspec M501 or M550 UV/Visible Spectrophotometers.

It allows sample volumes from 0.7 to 5µl, 0.2mm or 1mm pathlength. Hellma report that they have sold several hundred of these cells. The software built into the Camspec instruments automatically calculates the concentration and DNA purity.
