Olympus America Inc. has an agreement with Data Innovations, Inc. to provide U.S. customers with middleware powered by the Data Innovations Instrument Manager™.

Immunoassay Systems: Lab Data Management

The agreement between the companies provides laboratories with advanced features to manage data from Olympus AU^® Chemistry and AU3000i^® immunoassay systems and to optimize routing, tracking, and archiving of specimen tubes for the Olympus OLA2500™ automation systems. By using customized rules-based decision processing and auto-verification middleware solutions, laboratories can improve the quality and turnaround time for patient data and reduce personnel time for review and management of workflow.

The agreement gives Olympus the rights to distribute the Data Innovations Instrument Manager™ in the U.S. Olympus will provide all sales, marketing, service and support of the middleware system. Data Innovations will provide customer training at their facility and through their web-based services.

Clinical Laboratory Middleware
